Childcare Leave Benefit

For employment-insured workers taking childcare leave for a child under 1, about 67% of pre-leave wages (about 50% from day 181) is paid. Since April 2025, a new Post-Birth Leave Support Benefit adds 13% for up to 28 days when both parents take leave.
