Maternity Allowance

When a health-insured worker takes leave for childbirth and receives no salary, health insurance pays about two-thirds of the standard daily wage for leave from 42 days before birth (98 for multiples) to 56 days after. Separate from the 'lump-sum birth allowance'—you can receive both.
